Sex, Tapes and Who Cares…

24 July 2007

I was just reading an article on That’s Famous about Kate Moss.  Seems she’s worried that “intimate tapes” she made with her ex-boyfriend, drug addicted musician Pete Doherty, might end up on the internet.

Hmmmm…

NOW she’s worried?

What is it with famous people.  Paris Hilton, Pamela Anderson, Shannen Doherty (no relation to the drug addict dude) and now Kate Moss.  Do they seriously think that nobody would ever do something underhanded, immoral or illegal to get to these kinds of tapes? Do they think that nobody cares? Do they think that nobody is willing to sell them for insane amounts of money or that nobody is willing to buy them for the same amount of insane loot? Do they seriously think that an ex will not be angry over a breakup and seek out a little revenge or capital gain?

“But the tapes are personal….”

Ya and…..

I don’t get why these famous people take these kinds of risks.  If it’s not something you’re willing to have the entire world see, don’t tape it. Simple.  I’m sure in some of the cases *cough Pamela* *cough Paris* that, though there was a public outcry over the release of the tapes, the “leaking” of them was not as unintentional as claimed. Any publicity is good publicity. However, if any of them were genuinely concerned for their reputation and privacy they woudn’t have made, or would have made, viewed and destroyed, the tapes. Simple!

Course that’s only my opinion.  If I even had the smallest of urges to make such a tape, I’m pretty sure nobody could be paid to watch them muchless buy them.  lol

Take care!
